These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MujiTivi application ("the Application") developed by MujiLab ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. Nature of the Application

MujiTivi is a media player application. It allows users to play media content from their own sources using their own credentials and playlists.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Application, including any content you access, complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to access any content you stream through the Application.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the Application. By using the Application, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account registration

Creating a MujiTivi account is optional and only required for Premium features. If you create an account:

• You must provide a valid email address.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Freemium model and payments

The Application is free to download and use with core functionality. Premium features are available through:

• Monthly subscription — billed monthly, cancel anytime
• Annual subscription — billed annually, cancel anytime
• Lifetime purchase — one-time payment, perpetual access

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access control measures
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell the Application or any Premium features
• Use the Application to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when creating an account

6. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Application, including its source code, design, logos, and trademarks, are and remain the exclusive property of MujiLab. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Your data and security

Source credentials you enter into the Application are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not have access to these credentials. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device. We strongly advise against using the Application on jailbroken or rooted devices, as this may compromise the security of locally stored data.

8. Third-party services

The Application integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

• Supabase — authentication infrastructure
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Stripe — payment processing
• Google Play Services — app distribution and payments (Android)

9. Internet connectivity

The Application requires an active internet connection for media playback and certain features. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from your internet service provider or mobile carrier. If you use the Application outside your home territory, roaming charges may apply.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee compatibility with all media formats, codecs, or streaming sources. Playback quality and availability depend on your media source, network conditions, and device capabilities.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MUJILAB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the Application
• Any content accessed through the Application
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party conduct or content

Our aggregate liability for all claims related to the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred euros (100€), whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MujiLab from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your use of the Application, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party, including any intellectual property rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Application is immediately revoked.
• You must cease all use of the Application and delete it from your devices.
• Sections 6, 10, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.

You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by deleting the Application and requesting account deletion via [email protected].

14. Updates and modifications

We may release updates to the Application from time to time. While we are not obligated to provide updates, continued use of the Application may require you to install the latest version. We reserve the right to discontinue the Application at any time.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

For EU consumers: nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. You may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MujiLab regarding the Application and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Application.
